About Us

Our-Mission-min

Fairy Garden Finder started with my daughter Molly and her eagle eyes. Every time we went for a walk or visited a new neighborhood, Molly’s biggest excitement wasn’t the playgrounds or the shops (even though she loved those too) — it was the hope of spotting a tiny door tucked against a tree root or a miniature stone path hidden in a flower bed. We realized just how much joy these small displays bring to a community.

We created this site because we wanted a way for families like ours to find that magic more easily. Our mission is to build a community map where fairy garden creators can share their hard work and “fairy hunters” like Molly can find their next adventure. Whether it’s a grand display or a single tiny gnome, we believe every bit of magic deserves to be found.

To us, a fairy garden is much more than just miniature furniture tucked into a flower pot. We see it as a tiny, living invitation to pause and look closer. These are small scale sanctuaries crafted from moss, stones, and twigs, designed to look as though a tiny creature could move in at any moment. While some are elaborate installations in public parks, others are simple displays of found art created by neighbors on a whim. The only real requirement is that the garden is built with a sense of wonder.
The true magic of a fairy garden lies in the unexpected discovery. These aren’t meant to be loud attractions or centerpieces. Instead, they are secrets meant to be stumbled upon during a quiet walk or a morning hike. Whether it is a tiny door at the base of an oak tree or a pebble path through a fern, these gardens exist to provide a sudden jolt of joy. They remind us that no matter how busy life gets, there is always room for a little mystery and a lot of imagination.

We’re always looking for people to help find hidden fairy homes. If you have a question about the site or a garden you’d like to share with us, we’re all ears!
